Here is the problem lets say the user visits our computer lab. When this user logs into a lab computer not only should it map the lab printer but also map the printer 1 that is tied to their user via a the first GPO.
They should have access to two printers. Running a report on the user on a lab computer shows everything being applied. It is not present. Two printers - printer 1 being deployed per user in a department OU, Lab printer being deployed per machine in lab OU.
It use to work. Also we have recently back in june updated our lab computers to windows Thanks for that post. Their fix is already applied and it doesn't fix it. Looks like their other recommendation of just adding it by hand is what we already did. So I guess we were on the right track. Now its Microsoft's turn to actually post a fix.
